SSI EXTENDED RANGE NITROX DIVING

DESCRIPTION

Image result for SSI EXTENDED RANGE NITROX DIVINGThis program provides the knowledge and experience required to independently plan and conduct limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters, using nitrox mixtures up to 50%. This entry-level program introduces you to the Extended Range training techniques and skills, and can be completed wearing a standard single-cylinder equipment configuration. You will earn the SSI Extended Range Nitrox Diving certification after completing this program.

Jump the Gap Between Rec and Tech!

A splash of decompression theory, a dash of common sense, bucketload of practice covered with dive planning, and you got the XR Nitrox course!

This programme qualifies you to dive to 40 metres using nitrox and to do 15 minutes of decompression. Your deco gas can be anything up to 50% nitrox, but you cannot do acceleration on the stage gas. You will learn to plan your decos, and execute that plan while maintaining buoyancy and trim to the required standard.

The programme can be completed wearing your standard total diving system, a large cylinder with H or Y valve, a full twinset, or in sidemount configuration.

The longer bottom times you get from limited decompression will allow you to wander around the wrecks and deep parts of pinnacles - and the course prepares you for the Technical Extended Range courses!
